Life is STILL Very Wow!

Bette Midler picked this song to be the opening number of her new Vegas act.  Yes she did, that's a fact. It's a big chunk of FolkFunk and Hep Hop that has served me well for many a gig.  It's one of those all weather songs that comes through for you, rain or shine. You've lost your job? Well, life is still very wow! You've just fallen in love? Life is still very wow! You fell down the stairs lost your shares forgot your prayers and are surrounded by bears? Hey, life is still very wow wow wow.  Here's me doing it on a trippy afternoon in my dining room.  Then I'll treat you to a little taste of Ms. Midler practicing it.  Then maybe a hint of how I reworked the song for Bette's big show. And then The Backboners version from our album Spine. Wow!

Then, when the Divine One asked me to re-write the song as the opening number of her Vegas act, I did--three times.  This is the first minute or so of the demo I made.  So imagine that instead of me in a key too high, it's Bette Midler singing this song...
